2026 Quebec Peewee

Vermont Flames is the ONLY Vermont team registered for this prestigious tournament.

Basic Tournament Info:

• The tournament will be held between February 11-22 2026.  We anticipate our team staying for 7 - 10 days, this will be determined by the schedule.
• Players must be born in the 2013-2014 birth years to qualify.
• The team will consist of 15 players, 2 Goalies, and 2 Alternates

If selected for the team, the financial commitment includes;

• Tournament Fee
• Exhibition Games
• Jerseys
• Winter Jacket
• T-Shirt
• Hat
• Water Bottle
• Helmet Stickers
• Trading Pins

Note:  All other fees, including accommodations, team activities (such as sledding park or Remparts game), meals, parking, incidentals, etc are not included and will be at an additional expense.

Generally, the coach is doing some team activities that are generally free but it's a good idea to give your player some pocket change!  These could include walks through the old city, outdoor skating rinks if weather permits, etc.

About the Tournament:
The tournament, founded in 1960, has seen the likes of many NHL stars pass through: Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Marcel Dionne, Guy Lafleur.

The Quebec Pee Wee International Tournament is annually attended by more than 2,250 competitors from over 15 countries. It is the oldest and most prestigious youth hockey tournament in the world and unofficially serves as the Pee-wee World Championships.  The Quebec Peewee International Hockey Tournament is the centerpiece of the annual Quebec City “Winter Carnival.” The Winter Carnival draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.  The hockey is amazing of course, but this is an experience that young hockey players will remember for the rest of their lives.  There is nothing like it, thousands of spectators watching peewee hockey, the winter carnival, the pin trading, all of it . . . . including friendships that will be made and kept over many years to come.   This is so much more than a hockey tournament, but a life experience.
