Program Information

In a normal season our teams typically play 40-50 games during the season beginning September through the end of February.  Girls are part of the NEGHL hockey league, which is the premiere league for girls in New England.  Our boys teams play an independent and EHF schedule and we focus on sourcing the best competition.  We try as much as possible to play 2 games on Saturday/Sunday and have one day a weekend off.  Practices are 2-3 days a week from September through end of February.  Typical holiday weeks are Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years. The teams participate in 2-3 selected Showcases which are heavily attended by prep schools and academies that provide an opportunity for our players to interact with schools and have early interactions to prepare for future years.  Vermont Flames also provides the only professional Goalie Coach in the state who participates with our Goalies throughout the winter,  Robert "Cap " Raeder!   Our home ice venues are Montpelier Civic Center, Waterbury Ice Center, and UVM.  Split season teams operate from September through Thanksgiving.

Full Season Tuition and Equipment Fee - $4000
Split Season Tuition and Equipment Fee - $1650

We are the leading program in the state that is providing opportunities to our players to continue their academic and hockey pursuits at the next level.  This is a challenging and rewarding experience regardless of your players personal goals.  Whether it's prep school, a hockey academy or continuing on in high school, our program ensures they are well prepared for their next phase of development.
